The Ripe Tomato Farms is a forward-thinking, organic, no-till residential farm that aims to get more people growing in the right direction. Less work, less cost, and preserving the soil along the way. I want to help everyone to grow better, one crop at a time!
I’ve been growing for as long as I can remember, but in 2012 it officially turned into a job, albeit part-time. Selling extra produce at the roadside stand turned into microgreens in the winter which turned into selling bulk seeds nationwide which eventually turned into a YouTube channel.
Teaching and passing on the skills and methods that I’ve acquired over 40 years of growing food has been one of the greatest rewards of it all. You don’t realize just how much knowledge you’ve compiled until you start visualizing, scripting, writing, and filming yourself every week! When it is all said and done, my hope is to leave a repository of information about backyard vegetable gardening in a sustainable way that is second to none.
